Lyric Soprano Jennifer Valle recently made her role and house debut as Micaela in La Tragédie de Carmen with Tacoma Opera. Previously, Jennifer was seen as Mimì in El Paso Opera’s La Vie de la Bohème under the direction of Emmy winner, David Grabarkewitz. She joined the award-winning cast of Robert Ward’s The Crucible as Ann Putnam at the Opera Competition and Festival with Mezzo Television in Hungary, directed by Hungarian National Theatre Artistic Director Róbert Alföldi and televised in over 40 countries. New York performances include her Lincoln Center debut celebrating Giacomo Puccini’s 150th anniversary, Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Mavis the Tractor in the New York premiere of Tobias Picker’s Fantastic Mr. Fox, Masha in The Music Shop, and Beauty in Giannini’s Beauty and the Beast with Dicapo Opera Theatre. Jennifer has also made television appearances on Gotham, Billions, and Boardwalk Empire.
Jennifer's work has been honored by the Metropolitan Opera National Council, Liederkranz Foundation, Opera Competition and Festival with Mezzo Television, Opera Index Competition, Bel Canto Foundation of Chicago, Verna Ross Friends of Austria, International Institute of Vocal Arts, Northwestern University, and the Iowa Center for the Arts.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Music from University of Iowa and her Master of Music with Honors from Northwestern University.
